PLEADINGS & FILINGS For the past 3 years, he has served as co-author of a chapter on "Pleadings & Filings" for the New York State Trial Lawyers Association's annual "Decisions" seminar. The prestigious "Decisions" seminar is offered every year, throughout New York State, by the New York State Trial Lawyers' Association and Mr. Markman's contributions to the program have solidified his reputation as both a gifted writer and an expert on New York State civil procedure
STATIC OVER CELL PHONE TOWERS His commitment to the community also recieved public attention in 2003, when he represented the parents of children whose safety was at risk. Mr. Markman worked pro-bono for the concerned parents to negotiate with the Diocese of Brooklyn, which chose to remove the towers. Read an article about the situation from the New York Post.
LAW STUDENT CODE OF PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITY In another contribution to the law community, Mr. Markman's 1996 article entitled "A Proposed Law Student Code of Professional Responsibility" was published by the New York State Bar Association.
